If you feel scared of or around your partner or if you are worried about someone you know, get in touch with Scotland’s 24 hour Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline on 0800 027 1234, email us helpline@sdafmh.org.uk or visit sdafmh.org.uk.

We know it can be hard to pick up the phone. When you call the helpline, your call will be answered by fully trained call handlers who have lots of experience supporting people affected by domestic abuse and forced marriage.

The person who answers the phone will listen to you, support you to talk about your experience and try to find options that help you to keep you and your children safe. They can also help you to find further support, if that is what you want.

All calls are confidential, and if English isn’t your preferred language we can speak to you through a translation service.

We believe you, and we want to support you. We know it isn’t easy, but we’re here for you.
