Partner for change today
Why partner with SWA?
Domestic abuse remains a major issue in Scotland, with over 60,000 cases reported yearly—many more go unreported. Survivors face inadequate support and barriers to justice.
Your partnership with Scottish Women’s Aid will help us reach more people, push for legal change, and support survivors. Together, we can make a real difference.
Want to see how your funds will be utilised?
Here’s some of what we achieved in 24-25
30+
SWA served as a national umbrella, providing support, training and quality assurance to over 30 Women’s Aid specialist domestic abuse services across Scotland.
>16,000
These 30+ Women’s Aid services provided vital, direct support to over 16,000 women and children affected by domestic abuse.
>570
The Women’s Aid network employed around 570 staff nationally and had an annual turnover of circa £27 million. Partner with us today to strengthen our national movement.
>14,000
SWA supports Scotland’s Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline which took more than 14,000 contacts in 24-25. Help us continue to expand our vital text and WhatsApp service and expand our reach.
>2,000
Staff trained across public and private organisations, including the police, judiciary and social work, on how to effectively respond to survivors, reduce trauma and increase safety. Help us to expand this vital training.
4 years +
For more than four years, our Survivor Reference Group has been a vital force for change in shaping our ongoing work in policy, practice, and advocacy. Support us to expand the group, to enable more women to ‘turn their pain into power’.
